What made you want to work at Housing 21?
I had an interest in housing.
About my job
I currently work as a Property Services Officer. I deal with the voids/budgets/repairs. I have over the last few months been heavily involved with contractors. Also I have dealt with all staffing issues i.e. interviewing, training etc.
Have you done other jobs at Housing 21?
I initially came as a part time receptionist, after 2 years I was promoted to a full time Property Services Administrator, after twelve months I was then promoted again to Property Services officer which I have been doing now for 12 months.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love people contact be it on the telephone or face to face with contractors, tenants etc., but also any staffing issues.
What is it like to work at Housing 21?
At times very stressful, but I do enjoy a challenge, I also love to succeed and feel I have succeeded in my role and I give 110%. I start at 9.00am and before I know it it's 5.00pm , if I didn't enjoy my position I would be clock watching all the time.
Where do you see yourself in two years time?
I would like to think I will still be with Housing 21... but we will see!
