Housing 21 is

• A leader in the developing role of extra care housing. We received the largest Department of Health grant for extra care housing in 2005/6. Our extra care housing forms an important resource and a centre for local communities and community services.
• One of the largest providers of care services in England offering generic, specialist and culturally appropriate services including home form hospital.
• A major provider of retirement housing in England. We have rented and leasehold sheltered housing throughout the country forming part of a holistic social care and housing framework supporting older people in the community.
• A driving force in developing dementia services and specialist older people's mental health services.
• An acknowledged leader in PFI/PPP. As the housing and services provider in the biggest social housing PFI for older people in England we are bringing national expertise in housing and regeneration to develop local solutions.
