What made you want to work at Housing 21?
I wanted a change from nursing care, and felt that Housing 21 had more to offer me as an employer; a chance to further my career.
About my job
I am a Care Services Manager based in the Midlands. I oversee management in the care services delivered in Solihull, Wolverhampton and Staffordshire, these sites are a mixture of domicilliary and extra care schemes. I also help to start up new business within my area.
Have you done other jobs at Housing 21?
Yes, I started out as Administrator, then worked my way up to Home Care Manager and now Care Services Manager.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
My job is very varied and no two days are the same. It can be very hectic, but it is worth it!
What is it like to work at Housing 21?
Housing 21 is a very large company and you get to meet all sorts of people and improve your own skills.
Where do you see yourself in two years time?
I don't know!
