What is sheltered housing?
Sheltered housing provides a home specially designed for older people who value their independence but choose to live somewhere that is easier to manage and where help is at hand 24 hours a day. Most of Housing 21's properties are in groups of individual, self-contained apartments, built around communal areas and are known as "courts".
