There is now a way for you to raise sensitive issues about the way Housing 21 provides services where going through normal channels would be difficult due to the circumstances of the case. This covers situations like serious allegations of staff misconduct, harassment or abuse whether that is physical, financial or otherwise.
Calls of this kind to a senior manager are entirely confidential. You do not have to give your name if you do not wish to do so. Please be assured that there will be no repercussions if you use this service. It is not the service to use for standard complaints about repairs, rents, service charges etc these should go through the standard complaints procedure. This is a way of making us aware of sensitive issues that need to be dealt with, particularly where following the ordinary complaints procedure might make you or others feel vulnerable.
If you wish to speak to someone in confidence then you can contact any of the managers listed here. Hopefully the conversation you have with a senior member of staff will be enough to put the matter to rest. It may be that further investigation is required in which case the senior manager can keep you informed of progress until the problem has been dealt with.
The relevant Heads of Service will oversee this system to ensure that serious allegations are investigated and problems put right as promptly as possible.
