PFI, stock transfer and private finance

Housing 21 is building a reputation and skill base in PFI and PPP and are now acknowledged as leaders in bringing our national expertise in housing and regeneration to develop local solutions. We have substantial expertise in PFI with a team devoted to working with local authorities to deliver modern housing and service choices for older people.

We are now taking forward the largest sheltered housing PFI in England working with Oldham MBC and have been appointed as preferred bidder for two other substantial PFI/PPP projects in Kent and Walsall. See the items above for further information about these exciting and ground-breaking projects.

Housing 21 is also at the forefront of working with local authorities and other providers to transfer existing stock and invest in its modernisation. In Lewisham, Redbridge and Portsmouth Housing 21 has found solutions to rebuild run down homes and facilities without grant funding.
